Hi to all Behommers,

For years, thanks to your fee, we donated 5% of Behomm’s profits to Archive Global, an NGO improving health through better house design. Unfortunately, it seems they have now closed.

Now we’re starting a new chapter supporting Nukoko , an NGO based in Ghana.

Why Nukoko?

Because of 100% trust. We know the founders, Andrea and Mar Doreste, since they were born, young brave women, a psychologist and a product designer with their own professional carreers in Barcelona while leading the NGO. Agus and I have seen the impact of their work firsthand in Ghana. It deeply moved us.

Nukoko’s vision: enabling people to gain skills and independence,so that one day the NGO may no longer be needed. We admire Nukoko’s commitment to empowering local communities through education, work, and sustainable development.

  • Real help is not charity: Work brings dignity and self-confidence.
  • Empowerment through education: They created a school for 100 children and university scholarships open doors to future opportunities.
  • Empowerment through work: They created a guesthouse in a remote village in Ghana and organize group trips during the year. This provide stable income for over 30 people, mainly women.
  • Empowerment through design: They created an online shop where they sell beautiful, sustainable products made by artisans.
  • Community-led decision-making: The people themselves choose the projects and guide their own path forward.

This year, with Behomm’s support, Nukoko built an oven to create glass art and started a course to train artisans, creating five new jobs.

We are very excited to begin this new collaboration with Nukoko, thanks to all of you.

With warm regards and gratitude,

Eva and Agust
